Timothy is an award-winning communicator with more than 17 years of experience building, elevating and protecting some of Canada’s — and the world’s — leading brands. With a deep passion for social impact, they harness the power of purposeful storytelling to inspire, ignite and influence change.
Timothy brings lived experience as a member of a number of underrepresented and historically marginalized communities. These intersecting identities inform their perspectives and ideas as a leader and communicator.
Timothy currently serves on the International Association of Business Communicators’ Global DEI Committee. Their DEI commitment also extends into their community. Over the last two years, they launched a dumpling drive — #DumpTheHate — to raise awareness of anti-Asian racism and funds for organizations that support the Asian community. This initiative has sparked several speaking and media opportunities, including conversations with Sony Music Canada, Uniqlo Canada and a number of media outlets.
When they’re not shaping and sharing brands’ stories, they enjoy hiking and camping with their ginger cockapoo, Jackson. A curious lifelong learner, Timothy’s had the privilege of visiting 30
countries across six continents, including Antarctica.
