As a recent transplant to Canada, he brings with him a wealth of experience in fostering strong client relationships, honed over five years as a case manager and junior paralegal at a prominent law firm in Los Angeles, California. There, he assisted countless individuals from Latin America and beyond in navigating the complexities of immigration law, facilitating their journeys to the United States or supporting them in their efforts to remain in the country.
As a proud member of the 2SLGBTQI+ community, Luis has always been deeply committed to advocacy and support for marginalized peoples, particularly those living with HIV. This passion led him to volunteer with LATINOS POSITIVOS upon his arrival in Canada, where he served as a translator and interpreter for legal documents and attorney appointments, helping to bridge crucial communication gaps and ensure access to vital services for those in need.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Luis is a dedicated artist with a love for painting and creative expression in all its forms. He is continually expanding his horizons by learning new languages and skills, all while enjoying spending time with his beloved dog, Cosmo.
