Karim (he/him) is a dedicated advocate with a deep commitment to humanitarian causes and human rights and a rich background in international policy and advocacy. In his former role at Crisis Action, he focused on civil society engagement in MENA countries, leading collaborative efforts with local groups, including youth- and women-led organizations, to connect grassroots movements with broader international policy dialogues. His expertise in strategic advocacy and policy analysis has been effective in amplifying the voices of grassroots organizations and marginalized communities on the global stage.

Beyond his professional achievements, Karim’s dedication to social justice is evident in his volunteer work with organizations like the Lebanese Red Cross, underscoring his belief in the power of localized empowerment and grassroots advocacy as cornerstones for building stronger, more resilient, and inclusive communities. A Fulbright Scholar, Karim pursued an MA in International Affairs at Yale University and also holds a Dual BA in Business Administration from the Lebanese University. In his free time, Karim enjoys staying informed on the latest news and current issues, traveling, cooking, and spending sunny afternoons with friends, often engaged in lively yet friendly political debates
