Devin O’Neill is a Director and Senior US Immigration Attorney at EY Law LLP. Devin has over 15 years of immigration law experience in the areas of business immigration and asylum/refugee law. Prior to joining EY Law LLP, Devin served as a Regional Protection Officer for Mixed Migration in Southern Africa with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Outside of her work at the UNHCR, Devin has taught refugee/asylum law, as well as legal practice, and represented several gay and lesbian asylum seekers. Devin has also focused on HIV/AIDS and access to health services across East, Southern, and West Africa with her Master of Public Health (MPH). Devin is licensed to practice in New York and Massachusetts and is a registered Foreign Legal Consultant with the Law Society of Upper Canada. She currently serves as a National Liaison to US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on behalf of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), authored and spoken on matters of US border issues on behalf of AILA. Devin holds a JD from the University of Michigan Law School, an MPH from the University of Michigan School of Public Health and a BA from Smith College.
