Zoe Robinson, CPA, CMA (she/her)

Zoe Robinson is a finance and strategy professional who came out as a transwoman in November 2018. Her life experience was vastly improved through the process of transitioning and now lives a full life and positive life in Toronto.

She is executive with leadership experience in the non-profit, regulation, and sports sectors, who excels at financial management, governance, and risk management. Expert at designing, developing, and executing strategic plans and working successfully with remote teams. Energizes organizations through collaborative and cross-functional management systems that lead to innovative solutions and decisions. Demonstrated success with mentoring and developing managers and staff. Success in working with budgets of $10M with large staff and volunteer compliments and known for being straightforward, emotionally intelligent, collaborative, a deep listener, and grasping complex concepts rapidly.

Zoe is a Chartered Professional Accountant with a Certified Management Accountant legacy designation, a graduate of Queen’s University (Bachelor of Arts – Music History) in Kingston, Ontario. She has worked in the not-for-profit industry for nearly 30 years, serving in a variety of management positions, including 6 years as a CEO, and most recently as the Vice President, Finance and Reporting, for the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

Zoe specializes in financial management, working with boards of directors and executives to improve board performance, board and CEO relationships, developing and delivering strategy, and managing enterprise risk management programs.

She currently serves on the Board of Directors for The 519 and Parachute Canada.
