Nicoy is a dynamic community leader with an unmistakable passion and commitment to Black and Queer liberation. They bring a diverse background in not-for-profit and hospitality administration and management to this role. Before coming to Rainbow Railroad, they worked at Pride Toronto for six years, working in the operations department in various rewarding positions. Their most recent role as Community Engagement and Office Manager was instrumental in launching numerous vital initiatives for the organization, which included nine successful community advisory committees, four community-focused pride celebrations, a Not-for-Profit partner program and a vastly expanded honoured positions program.
Nicoy’s unique combination of education, skills and work experience has allowed them to develop their strengths in office management, administrative and technical support. As a dynamic community advocate with a talent for 2SLGBTQ+ community building and strategy, Nicoy is excited to bring these skills to Rainbow Railroad and expand their knowledge in this position.
