Lily, currently based in Mexico City, began with Rainbow Railroad as a Program Officer for Complimentary Pathways US in January 2023. Prior to joining Rainbow Railroad, she worked in Tijuana as the Volunteer and Intern Coordinator and Lead of LGBTQI+ Programming for Al Otro Lado, a binational organization serving asylum seekers at the US-Mexico border. She is well versed in a trauma-informed approach to crisis response work, having screened thousands of LGBTQI+ migrants in Mexico for specific services. Additionally, Lily is experienced in coordinating thousands of volunteers, both in-person and remotely, and developing robust online programming for hundreds of undergraduate, graduate, and law student interns. Lily graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern Oregon University with degrees in Anthropology, Spanish, and Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies.
In her free time, Lily enjoys dancing, spending time outdoors, and playing fetch with her cockapoo, Dalia.
