Rachel “Kel” Kelly is a butch non-binary lifelong Torontonian. They have a background in communications and business. After completing a bachelor’s degree at Western University’s Ivey School of Business, Kel worked for major media brands like CTV, TSN, eTalk, and iHeartRadio. Over the years, they gradually transitioned from media creation into operations management for small businesses. They eventually focused on office management and found a love in curating comfortable, collaborative work environments. Kel is also an event producer with Glad Day Bookshop where they host literary and screening events. They are also an accomplished writer; their music reviews have been published in Exclaim! Magazine, and they are a 2024 recipient of a Toronto Arts Council Level 1 Writing Grant.
