John is the Chief Operating Officer of North American Personal and Business Banking at BMO. Previously, John led BMO’s personal banking products and customer segments strategy driving market leading revenue and market share growth in Canada. John’s expertise are in the areas of strategy, customer segment strategies, product development, P&L management, risk management, analytics, channel management, and marketing. Before joining BMO, John held executive positions at RBC and Capital One and was a consultant at Bain.
John holds an MBA in Marketing and E-Commerce from Wharton and an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business. With over two decades of active engagement as a diversity and inclusion leader, John has been recognized twice on the global Outstanding 100 LGBTQ+ Executive Role Model List. John joined the Rainbow Railroad board in December of 2018.
