Andrew is a partner at Deloitte, based in Toronto, and is Deloitte’s global mining leader. In the latter role, his areas of expertise lie in the development of corporate and competitive strategy, organizational transformation and innovation.
Andrew has also spent a significant amount of time working for different non-profit organizations, and previously served on the international board of Right to Play.
Throughout his consulting career, as well as in his previous roles for a mining company and engineering firm, he has had the opportunity to work with senior executives on strategic issues in both emerging and developing markets.
Andrew grew up in South Africa but emigrated to Canada 18 years ago. He has lived and worked in multiple countries around the world, and has an MBA from the University of Cape Town and a MSc engineering degree from the University of Kwazulu Natal.
